About Nick

Few people sit at the intersection of art and commerce like Nick Ruffini; media executive, career drummer and lifelong entrepreneur.

Ruffini, a Philadelphia native turned Los Angeles resident, grew up in his parents’ restaurant and retail real estate business while simultaneously building a career in music as a professional drummer. Over the years, his entrepreneurial interests increasingly influenced his artistic trajectory. So while he’s been working as a professional drummer since 2001, touring with multiple artists and managing a successful solo career that yielded a top-50 record, he’s also developed into a successful media executive and business owner with a career that spans music, entertainment, sports, gaming and hospitality.

In 2003, while working in the family business and attending college, Nick got the entrepreneurial bug and launched Real to Reel Entertainment, a regional booking agency serving bands and DJs in the Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York and New Jersey markets.

From there he went into partnership with his brother, Ron, in 2011 to launch Pronto, a drive-thru Italian concept restaurant, serving scratch-cooked meals in 3-5 minutes.

2013 brought on a series of career pivots as Nick recognized an opportunity to provide valuable insight for drummers and launched Drummer’s Resource, a podcast and online community where he provides weekly interviews with the world’s greatest drummers and music industry professionals. Drummer’s Resource quickly became and remains the #1 drumming podcast in the world and a top-100 music podcast globally, boasting tens of millions of downloads and 650+ episodes to date.

In early 2017, the success of Drummer’s Resource spawned Revoice Media, a full-service audio & video production company, specializing in podcasts for talent, brands, and DIY creators. Revoice has gone on to launch and produce over 1,500 podcasts, including, multi-platinum pop artist Andy Grammer’s “The Good Parts Podcast” and Old 97’s frontman Rhett Miller’s “Wheels Off” and Webby-Award winning “Money Rehab with Nicole Lapin.”

In 2021, Nick was recruited to roll out and oversee a full slate of podcasts for FaZe Clan (NASDAQ: FAZE) the world’s preeminent eSports, lifestyle and entertainment organization with a combined social following of 500+ million. He then moved to Executive Producer of Content at FaZe, overseeing the development and execution of all original & branded content across FaZe Clan’s owned and operated channels. While at FaZe he led campaigns with best-in-class partners including Porsche, Nike, General Mills, Xfinity, NFL, Hulu, DraftKings, Warner Bros., DoorDash, GHOST Energy and more.

In addition to his role as Founder and Executive Producer at Revoice Media, Nick joined Good Day Film in 2023 as a Partner and Executive Producer. Good Day Film is a global Branded, TV & Film production company with a commitment to crafting stories that uplift, entertain, and provoke thought.

Nick has been featured in the New York Times, Variety and Modern Drummer Magazine and is on the official artist rosters of Aquarian Drumheads, Prologix Percussion, Vic Firth Drumsticks and Zildjian Cymbals.
